perhaps bad earth or bad connection in rear...when the vibration gets up :S just at thought

Maybe your packing the headunit volume in too much, compensate by lowering your headunit volume and bass controls and turn the gain up on the amp a little bit instead.

well i got hte gain up half on the amp for both door speakers and 6x9's. there JBL, is this 2much!:boggle:

Either its over heating (doubt it very much after 3 mins) or the amps protection circit is kicking is cos you got too much power going to your speakers...

I had my sub on my amp and after bout 3mins of turnin the volume up it goes off and then comes back on when i turn it down, now ive got the speakers on it and its even worse!

Is it overheatin??
