my old 1's use to squeal loads but the new ones with cooper grease on the back are fine!! | |

I've got mintex 1144's in my wilwoods and they squeal loads, always at low speeds. I put it down to the calipers not having any anti rattle mechanisms, maybe its the pads. | |

some pads just squeal, Mintex 1144's are a bugger for it! | |

Use cooper grease in the back of the pads, it will stop squealing;) | |

Did you clean out the calipers from grit before you fitted the pads, it could be grit making the noise, i have this prob just now too, and mine have been in for 3 weeks about, i was told that it has something to do with the frequency of the pads or some crap, just have to live with it. | |

had new brake pads fitted a couple of weeks ago. But the last couple of days the brakes have been squeaking when i brake. what's going on? |
