if you run all the speakers with the right cross over settings there is no reason y it shouldnt sound ok!

i highly recomend the alpine CDA - 9812RB, its a mp3 player but it is just amazing quality. i have one and i will never change for anything!!!!!! even sold my £1000 pioneer after hearing this one..... (just ask BeArDy!!!)

really want the smaller subs for the looks to be honest! may have another rockford amp lined up for my components.so that will be three amps, a 15, 2 8's and the components, this sound any good?

no need for 6 inch subs in the back because the rockford sub would provide plenty of bass!! just go for a simple system to start off with i.e comps with an amp to run them, sub with amp to run it. also read up on some installation information, if it is not all installed properley it will sound half as good as it could. keep the comps in the front for now and get them amp with about 80 watts and make sure they are installed properley. if u wana ask me owt else pm me

the new amp is a monoblock,1000watts rms same as the new sub!
looking into alpine headunits now, also what are pioneer like?
would a couple of 6"subs be a good idea? could run them off the 360.2

in my opinion:
get rid of that sony headunit and buy an alpine, get rid of the 6x9's and dont bother replacing them.
et some decent front components and amp them, then keep ya sub but power it off a monoblok amp

im thinking about changing my whole system for something abit more powerfull but am unsure on a few things.
frstly,i have this setup at the moment

sony cdx m670 headunit
alpine mrv-t407 amp running 17cm pioneer e-motion components
alpine mrv t707 amp running a 15" rockford punch HE sub
and a pair of infinity 6*9's which are in a sealed box just for a bit of rear fill sound.

i am getting a rockford fosgate bd1000.1 amp to run a rockford RFR3115

now should i keep the components and get a rockford 360.2 to run them or will i need some more powerfull components?
also, what shall i do with the 6*9's cos i'd prefere to replace them with a pair of 6"subs or summin?
headunit will be upgraded to something when i have the cash!
will i need a power cap and new battery for this lot?
also would dynamat be a good idea for the whole car?

sorry theres so many questions!!
