it goes in your um oh what does it go in brake vacuum line thingy. it basically does what you said, the filter stops the noise of it cos its bloody annoying the noise it makes! its really good and it works - gives you more miles to the tank! worth it imo

I know that if you cause a disturbance of the air (turbulence) inside the inlet manifold (which can be achieved with a rough inside suface ;) ) this causes air to flow easier.

But how does this little thing do it?

Also just seen you can Pipercorss do an addon for it which reduces the rasp

What does it do (technical explanation)

Apparantly give off quite a nice rasp (sound)
