Ok cheers Adam, the funny thing was when i first connected it bak up the temp worked, then when my dad moved the car later on he said ' i notice yor temp reading inst working', so i went and checked it and sure enough it wasnt - and hasnt ever since!!

right fist check the connections on themfd they can come loose and stop working then if its ok then yes u may need a new sensor
bu im gussing 1 of the pins on the mfd have come loose

Hiya, I had the dash in bits replacing all the bulbs that had blown behind the heater switches etc and after re-connecting the screen which displays the time, temp, and date etc, the temperature display no longer works - it just has lines going across where the temp should be displayed. It always worked before though.
Will i need a new temp sensor??
