turned out the pins had cum loose, so i jus soldired them bak,

to be fair, vauvhall didnt design the MFD to be removed/re-fitted all the time, so damage should be expexted if enough care isnt used

danregs - the leds didnt fuck the mfd. When you remove the mfd it can harm the pins in the back, making them go loose, as its crappy vauxhall electrics. This is probably the problem your having monkey magic. You'll need a new mfd from a scrappy, will only be about 5 quid

i did mine mine are fine just turn the led round
yes they are polarity sensitive

leds are polarity sensitive? so they only work if in the right way around?

as above, the lights turn of but it is still working as the time and date stay in memory, it happend since i replaced one of the leds for a new one??
