Wheels will make a big difference, every 1lb in rotational weight difference wheels is the eqiv of 10lbs car weight... I do wheels that are lighter than the pro races and at a better price

The pro race wheels are about 6lbs lighter than most 15's, so thats the equiv of 60lbs (25kg!)

other things you can remove/change are:

Glass change to lexion.
Remove bumper bars (not sure on the legalities on this)..
Change exhaust to something lighter..
Remove PS if fitted.
Change seats to lighter buckets..
Remove sound deadning, all speakers.. remove door cards, and fit c/f sheeting..
The Window winder mechanism is pretty heavy....

Rear wiper/motor..
Basically if you want to keep most of the comforts, then the wheels are gonna make the biggest difference to performance..

Go for a lighter tyre, Toyos are heavy, cant think of which make are lighter, but I could find out for you..

strip it bare and have 4 bucket seats, get carbon or kevlar 1's if you want it really light.

You can take all the sound deadening out from under the carpet. The under bonnet sound deadening if you have it as well.

Everything is in their for a reason though so you cant really lose any weight with no disadvantages....

so you wanna strip your car, but you carry passengers, and you want to keep the 'comfy' bits.

can strip it then! stripping it as little as you are on about just aint worth.

I kno power to weight ratio is everything really.

But i dont wanna strip down all my interior as i want the comfort and always carry passengerrs.

So wot else can i do besides removing the spare wheel and replacing it with a can tyre weld.

Must be other stuff??

Oh and i plan on buyingg some Pro Race 1's as i heard these were quite lightweight.
