Ok that link is fcuked.

Keep looking mate. I got a black SRi with 60k on the clock, full service history and recent service and cambelt for 2k. M reg too.

Only a tiny bubble of rust on the rear boot under the spoiler aswell.

The cambelt broke after a day of me owning it though.:(

Get yourself a nice black SXi 1.2 16v.

Check for a recent cambelt change or regular ones, check gearknob and seat armrests for signs of wear. If they have wear and the car has done low miles then something is wrong.

Check all electrical connections. Run car for about 20 minutes and make sure the ECU light does not come on as it shows a fault ranging from loose cambelt to dirty ICV etc.

Check for mayo type gunk round the oil filler cap.

And don't crash it mate!

check the b-pillars for signs of cracking and/or repairing.

check ondition of front slam panel & also where the anti-roll bar is attached to the front lower crossmember, it CAN and DOES develop rust there

check steering wheel for play

also open up the boot & where the rubber tubing is where the wires & washer jet pipe go from the shell to the boot lid, just see if there is any rust there also, as it can be found there too

open bonnet, and where the rubber seal is where the scuttle is attached to the bulkhead, just lift it & check there for rust too

usual engine checks, coolant & oil level & color, funny noises while idling, smokey exhaust & also if there are any blows.

Full service history is a good start with regular service intervals.

so i was hoping you could help me out.

firstly, could you name some other internet sites other than autotrader, to search for some cars.
