Check the earth straps off the battery, to the body, alternater etc. Mine was doing it 2 weeks ago, cleaned these up, and not done it since

its been serviced, no change. its one of those problems that could be a number of things and ive wasted a lot of money on it already

all u have to do is remove it and spray some degreaser into it, dry it then shove it back on. its held on by two torks screws

im gonna have a shot at cleaning the idle controll valve then, it looked like it was workin ok when i checked it, but its worth a go.

check leads, distributor cap and rotor arm. its also worth cleaning the idle control valve only takes 15 mins.

mate i had this trouble was with my car. Would stall first couple of minutes but after a bit would be fine problem was my spark plug leads. it stopped when i took the spark plug leads of the holder and it stopped brought new spark leads and the problem went stright away

I Dont know much bout these things but my mate had this problem with his astra, and it ended up being the leads (if that makes any sense?)

only thing i can think of is either the idle control valve but then it may stall even when warm. try looking at the automatic choke. may be on its way out

ok, my car stalls when it is cold. its ok ticking over but if you're moving and you depress the clutch it stalls as the revs drop too low. this only happens for the first few minutes. but its a nightmare coming to junctions/roundabouts. I've replaced the engine temp sensor (i think its called the coolant sensor) but its still there.
Anybody solved this problem in the past, it must be quite common. help much appreciated as ive bought an astra coupe and need to sell the corsa by feb15th to a mate so i can afford the insurance renewal on the astra.
