are the revs fluctuating? going up and down? if so could be the idle control valve but other than that i really have no idea. Be a strange thing to go on a relitiveley new car

errr :o BANG???!!!!

well i hope mine doesnt go bang

ok weve established it should idle at around 800rpm

Any ideas of how to fix it?:boggle:

mine used to tick over at 600rpm till it went bang

Yeh idle should be 800rpm.

With choke about 1000-1100rpm

I have a standard 1.2 SXi (C) and it idle's around 800rpm or there abouts, depends on how cold it is

my old sxi used to idle around 600-700

Its sitting at 600rpm now...

Does anyone know how to set it higher?
Ive tried disconnecting battery to reset the ECU (found that in a search on here)
