i can buy a tool that uses the same idea as the washers

it looks like a deep socket and it extracts the bush

wouldnt think there that dear.

sort off...your applying a constant pressure to the whole bush so it will push in eventually

put nylon bushes in. much easier

By winding you mean like trying to screw it in?

personally i would just buy myself new wishbones, they are only like 15 quid.

you can wind them in using a nut & bolt a couple of big washers

i want to change the wishbone bushes.i'll use the rubber ones.is it a DIY job? Can i just hammer them in place or do i need a hydraulic press?
