if u have an induction kit then no u don't need it. the pipe is for the airbox as it has a valve on it to help warm the engine up on cold starts. so if u have an induction kit there is no real use for the pipe

It appears that my engine is missing the piping that takes the hot air out of it.

I had a look on my mates Corsa and his has a flexible black tube coming from the front-ish of the engine into the airbox.

Am I right in presuming I need this...even though I have an induction kit? :boggle:

I only noticed it when I stopped my car and the engine appeared to be smoking. On closer inspection, it was the rain going onto the engine :look:
