koolkorsa dont you have a corsa B?

If you have a C, start the car, put the windows down, shut car off, just lock the car as you would with the key but when you turn it, hold it there for between 5 - 10 seconds.

If that doesnt work then im guessing it only applies to specific models.

go on www.astra-sport.co.uk and check the total closure system replies on the general asta chat there is somebody who does relay boxes the close the windows as soon as u lock the car, with the standard vaux central locking on the astra. hope it helps.

Ill take a look tomorrow

Pop off door card and have a look, see if there is some kinda sensor or something.

well mine and my mates def does work.

you need to hold it as soon as you lock it
i.e.
dont lock it then turn it back to lock position.

(also is it a corsa c?)

Richie

give it a try keeping your finger on it. If not, your gonna have to find the automatic closing timed relay for the windows.

Houckham

posted on 21st Jan 04 at 17:47

oh ...
i never tried keeping my finger on it.

just like keeping key in locked position makes em shut

Makarus

Yeah, you can do it. BMW's do it, if you press arm and keep your finger on it with a BM the windows and sunroof will shut.

You probably all know this...
(but for those of you who dont)

When you get out of your car and you have forgot to close the windows.
you can put your key in the lock and turn to lock position. and if you hold it there for a few second the windows will close.

Now what i was wondering....
Does anyone know a way to wire this up to when you use your remote central locking to lock car so this could close windows too:boggle:

It would look pretty cool if it did.

Sorry for long message
Cheers
