Turbo nova's are great cars. Faster than a turbo Corsa :P

Make sure you strengthen the engine bay.

You can probably mod the engine mounts, Im sure you can work it out.

You can use nova Gte/gsi driveshafts with old cav 1.6 inner cv's (i think)

The hard part will be the intercooler pipework etc.

You might need to mod the chassis rail on the drivers side if you use the wide alternator belt pullies, otherwise find early 2.0 16v ones.

Do a search or put a thread on www.migweb.co.uk

novas fall to bits with 1200 8valve engines so a 200bhp+ C20LET is bound to give you problems.

corsa b is a much better base to start with

u deffo need to strengthen the engine bay as it will fall to bits if u dont

You also may need to do some welding to strengthen your engine bay, as the C20LET will be considerable heavier than the original engine

You'll also need either another gearbox or the kit to convert the Calibra one to front wheel drive.

F20 gearbox from Astra GTE and others is a good choice.

astra in the uk up to 1993 was an opel kadett

Cavelier in the uk up tp 1991 was an opel ascona

Yeah, called the Corsa on the continent, Nova here.

Hi guys,

I have all of the mechanics(including front suspention and brakes) and electronics from calibra 2.0 16V turbo 16v 4x4. I would like to install all of that in corsa A . I would use only front wheel drive. What do I need to do that...what cv joints and halfshafts to use, what engine mounts, what gear linkage. Plese help!

P.S. I am located in Croatia so all of the non stock part I'll need to produce in machine shop so I'm looking to use as much stock parts as possibile including the ones from other Opels.

regards,
Tonci
