It still requires the key and the steering lock still works.

Just the button replaces the last movement of the key. So no difference except party piece.

pointless mate u still have to turn the key, its just a li party piece.

hi mate.
the way i understand them they wont work till you have the key in the ignition and it turned to the position just before the engine turns over, so it is just as safe.

i pmt'd my own in my old corsa, push to make switch, split the ignition wire(3rd key turn) and put switch in line, so to start turn and hold key, push the button, one push button start, cost me nout as i got the switch for nothing!:D got bored after a while though and took it back out, the novelty wore off after a while;)

couple of kwestions-
1) are they easy to wire up?
2)can they be wired up to your alarm, so that they don't work if the alarmis still on?
3)is having one a bad idea, like would it make it easyer for sum c*nt to nik it, obviously a stupid question cos no key needed(refer to above question)?
I just think that it is one of those little things that finish the interior of a car off, any help appriciated, cheers:thumbs:
