Not that I'm disagreeing (cos I don't know enought about it), but why? When that fuse is designed to run the cig lighter?

Just asking out of interest!

Im wiring up a cig lighter in my Corsa. Had a good look around the loom for the wires that should be used for it and couldnt find them. I cant see anything else that looks appropriate either. Although thats prolly because Im not 100% what to look for!

Ive had a look in the Haynes and it uses fuse 18 along with central locking (dont have), reversing lights, heated rear window, air con (dont have), speed sensor, automatic transmission (dont have) and seat heating (dont have).

Is there anything wrong with me tapping into the wires at the back of the fuse box? Obviously there is only two so I will tapping into them before they split to the other devices... is this still ok?

Cheers
