ak

in your pics your can see them in the rear 1/4 panels, it the same stuff as this, but about a4 size and stuck to the middle of the roof

i think it is to keep some type of intergral strength in the middle of the roof but im guessing

You need a blowtorch to soften the bitumen pads, then when they're hot, scrape them off with a wallpaper scaper. |The last traces can be removed with a brillo pad and paint thinners. I stripped all the sound deadening sh1t from my shell - a horrible job, but looks good in the end.

i was investigating having the inside resprayed as well, though it would look nice :)

currently cutting out all the old brackets (rear seats, front dash brackets, clips n stuff) which wont be needed due to lack of interior

is gona need re-sprayin inside once i'm done with it

I ripped my nova headlining down, was just sound deadening. Didn't weigh all that much tbh and left a nasty sticky mess on the roof where it had been glued up.
