Can't afford a chip too. I'm 'only' getting £1k. Already have the torque tube, black lexus lights, white dials, components and a boot respray on the list. That's £750! And I want bigger alloys:(

Ta very much fellas:)

Just gotta save £450 for that torque tube now. I wanna get it running sweet with new plugs / leads / battery / oil / coolant / torque tube for the summer. (YES I THINK AHEAD)

1. I want a Velos Torque Tube fitted to my 1.4 16v SRi engine. I have a green cotton induction kit on it and nothing else. Engine has 64,000 miles on it and is perfect. What is the most realistic gain I can expect from JUST the Torque Tube fitted? 90bhp - 105bhp?
2. Will thrashing you car a few times a day (NOT redlining) affect much?
3. Is changing the oil / coolant easy on a SRi?
4. How many cold air feeds does an Induction kit need?

1. Id guess around 10-15.....just a guess tho
2.Obliviously wont do it any favours but i cant see it doing any real damage 2 soon as long as u change oil regularly.
3.Piece of piss mate....axle stands are the way 4ward!!
4.Ive got 3 but 1 would be enough, the more the better tho me thinks!!

You should get about 15-20 bhp from the torque tube!
I've been in a Corsa 1.4 16v sport with a Mantzel powerbox on and it makes a big difference especially high up in the rev range!

1. Dunno what your talking about....
2. Cant be good in the long term I presume...
3. Easy peasy need to be drained from underneath....need a decent jack or something to raise it...
4. one positioned good enough should be enough...
