That's what happened to me!
But I think Eibach springs were developed for Bilstein dampers, so they are much uprated in terms of spring rate. They now produce a set of rebranded dampers wich sould be fine.
I think I've just have to guess, because no one seems to use this kit:(

well obvoiusly yes to some degree, but nowhere near as much as changing the dampers. i went from just lowering springs to these koni shocks and the ride got noticably worse, handling is fantastic though i only do about 40 miles a week so it doesnt bother me too much.

But if the sring rate is lower (appropriate for the Koni Shock) shouldn't the ride be softer?
That's what happened in the KW kit for the Audi, the spring rate was lower then the standard one, and the shocks were much uprated, and still the ride was very good.
I just don't want to buy spare springs that I the same as the ones I've got

its the shocks, my bro ahs exactly the same springs as me but with apex not koni shocks and hes ride it much softer even with mine on soft, but then his handling sint up to the same standard. both on 5 door td's.

Whiteline says the problem are the springs
Bilstein, courtenay and others says the problem are the dampers
I had KW V2 (with koni shocks!)in an AUDI S3 and the ride was wonderful, as was the handling!
So who do you think is right?
Because if the problem is in the shocs I prefer to change all the suspension and invest in KW Colovers Version 3 (totally adjustable, compression and rebound)
Opinions please?

im using apex springs with koni shocks and the ride isnt too bad n the handlings really good - set on 3/4 stiffness

any spring will fit over a koni shock mate.
They are adjustable so make the ride a bit softer.

Springs only adjust the ride height.

yea harshness is determined but the shocks/dampers. not sprints.

rough u mean it feels like ur on dampers that dont dampen? if u get what i mean? is it koni or all suspension dampers

the springs wont change anything, its the shocks mate.

That's the reason I want to change springs (rough ride)!
Whiteline seems to be the only company (along with Vogtland) to make springs for the Koni Shocks.
However I would like to have some feedback from clients to validate the information

its the shocks i have them and even on soft they are harsh, very good handling though.

Hi people,

I've got a CORSA 1.4 16v with Eibach springs and Koni shocks (yellow)
Good handling but awful ride!
Whiteline in Australia makes their own matched springs for the Konis, and claim that the ride retains some confort.
Does anyone outhere uses this springs or Kit?
Any Aussie owner?

Thanks
