so will a corsa with 15"s with 40mm offset be ok with a 60mm drop on gmax springs. and how long will the standard shocks last? (saving for shortened ones) oh the tyres are 195/45

i got apex 60mm kit with 7in et45 17s and i get the tinyest bit of rubbing but only when 4 people are in the car all you have to do is remove the arch bolts and bond the arch on and it will be fine

to get et45 17's on lowered 60mm i had to cut an inch and a half of metal from under the plastic arch, and fit longer bumpstops. ride was shocking though

I got 17" alloys 7" wide with 205/40/17 toyo tyres, my car is lowered 60mm a propper 60mm, apex wont drop ya car a true 60mm and never get any scrubbing, i put an engine in the boot once the rear went down about 85mm and i drove 60 odd miles home and it didnt scrub once, it looked the bollox man, you can see how far the tyre is in the arch in me pic to the left imagine it with the plastic arch back on and a shit load of ice in the boot all i done it removed the rear arch bolts

im thinking of getting 17s 7.0x17 et 45 and getting apex shocks and spring kit which lowers 60mm, i know i will need some archwork doing but will i just need to take the bolts out the arches and stick them back on ? how much would a garage charge to have the shocks fitted and the wheels and then the neccesary art work done

cheers!
