These fell in a bucket of Smoothrite (Hammerite Smooth). Tin was dented and on special offer for a quid :) | |

oh dont sand down the caliper, the hammerite smooth finish will give a good finish to the caliper i would remove the caliper but i wouldnt undo the brake hose i would hang the caliper from the suspension strut and paint it there | |

yep you want Hammerite Smooth Finish, i painted my rear drums and it looks good and comes in loads of colours, it wont burn off you can paint ya front calipers and even engine blocks with the stuff | |

Don't get caliper paint mate get hammerite, better finish I think. Also use wire brush to get rid of the rusty flakes and stuff. You don't have to remove the caliper but it would be easier to paint if your did :thumbs: | |
