dont think it matters if front or rear tyres are thinner or even different size so long as both tyres on the same axle are the same size and construction. | |

just change them all , youll be ok temp.as for putting it on back what if you had a car with wider wheels on back (ie porsche 911) if you had a puncture on front you have to use space saver , you would not get back wheel on front, too wide. | |

you really want the fronts and the rears the same, for a handling and safety point of view. I imagin if you were to emergancy stop at the moment you could easily spin. | |

its not a puncture its 2 suspicious/malicious holes in my 215/35/18 brand new pirelli tyre wall :( my mate at tyre place says its irrepairable and i cant afford a tyre at min kus of xmas ect | |

i don't really know a lot about it to be honest Kerry but I have heard it's not good to have to sdifferent size rims on the front and if you are going to do it then do it on the rear, how much is a puncture repair anyhow about £4, get yerself to the garage and get it fixed and there will be no worries for you, Regards Paul... | |
