www.cel-direct.co.uk.

6.5" infinity referance go straight into my car with the autolead adaptors that cost £15. needed to SLIGHTLY space the door pocket away from the door though using some 4mm spacers around the bolt holes at the speaker end of the pocket.

One thing to note, if you have a corsa B and want 6.5" comps then you are gonna have to either build a door pod to house them, or cut a bigger hole in the door (where the magnet goes through) to allow for the size of the magnet and wack spacers on the speaker adaptors to stop the window hitting the magnet - even then, you might have problems fitting the original cover over the top, so you might ahve to cut a hole in the grill as well.
Personally i would stick with some 5" comps, like the infinity 5000cs's (99 quid from halfords) and wack them in and get them amped asap  Ive got them in mine and they sound great. However, if you really want 6.5" comps, without all of hassle of greating door pods etc etc then there is a company (autoleads do them also, apparently) that already produced the door pods, but there about 150 quid for them alone :(

thanks for your help

Yeah dont bother with the 6x9's, especially ones that cost £130 when you plan on running them off h.unit power. At most that h.unit only produces 15/20wrms so running a 100wrms speaker from it is plain stupid! As I said above i'd focus on the front speakers as thats where you sit and will enjoy the sound the most.

Try looking at a few 6.5" component sets in the shops, you may need to mess around with adaptors a little to get the 6.5's to fit, 5.25's go straight in nicely but dont produce as much midbass.
Also look at amping them up with at least 50wrms and ideally 75wrms each side. Maybe add a little sound deadening to the door to further enhance things. Look to spend £150+ on components but the Infinity Referance at £100 is one of THE best value component sets EVER...

Basically forget the rear and sort the front, focus 90% on fronts and 10% rears. I think you'll find many that agree...

I meant what speakers are you running upfront. MOST money/power should go on front speakers...
