Look into the socket it needs to go in and you should be able to see what way it goes in

90 degrees? they fit in vertically just, theres no room for them to fit horizontally. Ill post some pics tomorrow when I try again :)

Sounds like you are putting them in so the 2 contacts are shorting out.

Put the LED in 90 degress round than you are doing now

yea LEDs will only draw milliamps,
hardly enough to blow a fuse.

No, it won't be that, leds draw practically nothing compared to a regular bulb.
Dan, I've got to go out very soon, I'll drive past your way and have a look if I have the time. If I'm running late, I'm here all day tomorrow.

Put a bigger fuse in. The LEDs are probably wanting more current than what the fuse is rated. My guess.

Im trying to fit two blue LED's into the heater display but everytime they go in my fuse blows. I've tried several combinations which way they go in but it ends up with the same fuse blowing. (speedo/rev counters not working one)

Any ideas? It works fine without them and the priginal bulbs.
