I love your car mate, one of the nicest 5 doors I've seen (never imagined I'd ever say that!), top quality ICE too... well done!

Not really speed, just acceleration would be nice. Getting raped by standard 1.0 12V's in my 1.2 16V just isnt fun! BTW my 1.2 is fine its just all the extra weight that kills it...

id prefer sound over speed any day because speed cant really be used in today's real life without getting done over, has to be saved for track days. Round ere id get much much more recognition with a damn good sounding car.

Nah its jus doing my nuts in at the mo! I COULD get into BIG money on the system, I think £3+k is enough allready!!! This year im aiming to make it go quicker and stop quicker with the addition of 4pots and 2.0 liters of XE oh and making it all legit by declairing it to mr insurance man aswell :(

Okay, im just running a pair of front comps and thats more than enough for driver position. Was looking into adding to the rear, with it being a 5door was going to cater for rear passengers, 2more alpine screen's (one in each front bucket seat headrest position) and a simple smooth set of 6.5" coaxes in the rear doors but then couldnt be arsed

TOMAS, mine are quite low, i cant hear em, was to just level it out for rear passengers.

Personally I wouldnt run more than one set of speakers in the rear. It will ruin the sound quality if you do.

As long as it is properly sound deadened you can put some speakers in there. I have comps up front and speakers cut into my rear quarters with nothing but subs in the boot.

its black with silver sides. anyways its sold now so it dont matter. anyway another question. is itworth puttin speakers in the rear quaters?? ill have 6x9s in the boot build and some speakers up front not sure what yet, any ideas?? i´ll be making pods for them so it dont matter about size.

TOMAS is correct Baza, we are being very serious, those BOSS amps (im guessing the one you have is either silver with black sides or its totally purple/blue) will NOT push out nothing like the power it says on the box. By the time you have spent your money buying 300wRMS 6x9's (if you can) the total price of that will not be worth it, as your 6x9's would almost certainly NOT get the power they need from that amp. Your money would have much better spent on a decent brand name amp and a set of decent mids!

TOMAS

Mate NO WAY on earth will your Boss "cough" amp be pushing 300wrms per side. Ask any person who knows a lot about ICE. My buddys AustinXXX, Corb or Snowy will set you straight.

a boss 1, lol. i jus thought id have it hidden so no1 could c it and run my 6x9s off it. just an idea tho.

TOMAS

naa, im gettin some pioneer 800watt (450rms) subs and a 450watt mono kenwood amp. 2xsubs and 2xamps. starting on my install in january, full fiberglass boot install, doorcards, mabey back doorcards and i was lookin at someones roof build, that looks kinda good. it´´ll be all sprayed in gloss black.(for free :D)

you dont get 300wRMS 6x9s! the peak power might be 300ws but not the 6x9s :) Most 6x9s are in the range of 50-150wRMS, although you might get a few higher than that, but you would be paying about the same as a sub.
Mate, leave the 6x9s, get a sub problem solved
