Looks like you could have damaged the wiring loom behind the bulkhead on your headunit, ive seen it happen before.

Needs to go to an auto electrician or vaux

Cheers...got it working!

BUT now I have a major problem (I'm telling you this hasn't been my day). When I was putting the headunit back in it wasn't going in far enough, the ISo connector getting in the way as usual. But all of a sudden the central locking went crazy, locking and unlocking and the interior light went off. And now it seems im fucked! Is there anything that is in this area that would cause these things, as my car isn't locking now (even with the remote central locking) and the interoir light doesnt work and the MFD display thing lights up but has nothing on it!

I have removed and put back the head unit many a time and never had this problem!

Any help much appreciated! :(

Richard

If the plug is near the connector on your radio it will pick up a signal

Aha, think I know what one that is... is there any way that I would still get a signal even if this wasn't connected? Maybe in a radion strong spot?

Cheers

When I first installed my headunit the radion reception was fine, no probs. But now it is very hit or miss, it can be good but then will just turn to static, and its like this for about 99.4% of the time so its prett much useless. I have had the headunit out and can't see any obvious loose wires.

Any ideas anyone? What colour is the radio wire and where should it go?

Cheers :)
