Sorry, no pics

There are 2 parts to the linkage, 1 is flatish and shaped abit like a '?', the other is just a straight bar with a plastic clip on each end (on some corsas the whole bar is plastic). you need to extend both parts by 15mm.

It took me about 30 mins in total after i'd been to the scrap yard to get a metal bar from a nova.

Or you could do what dave said, that way you wont have to mod the linkage.

If you do away with the spacer you shouldn't need to modify the linkage,you'll have to grind the gearox mount flat though so it sits flush against the gearbox.(Cheers Beardy;))

Have you got a picture showing this? I take it you cut and then welded somethign to extend it? Which side of the linkage does this need doing to?

Yes, you need to extend the linkage by about 15mm (both parts)

The top part on mine was made of plastic, so i used a metal one from a nova.

Hi,

Fitting a 20xe into a corsa gsi. wev used the corsa rear mount bracket and a spacer just wondering if the linkage needs to be modded at all?
