In my corsa B i have an M8 bolt on a hole i drilled through the spare wheel well.

i just used a driller head screw and screwed it to the floor of my boot.

Yup, thats an ideal place, same place as mine is earthed to.

Failing that it's pretty straightforward to find a good clean point to earth it against.

Picked up some new cables for my amp, and need a place to put the earth cable. Its currently hooked up to the battery, but with my new amp it needs to be much closer to the amp.

Was told to secure it to the same bolt that the rear seats use, is this right?

Any other suggestions? (has to be within 1 metre from the boot)
