well if the 2nd to last owner did. ive noticed now they only show the last owner on the log books now instead of all the previous owners | |

yes if the engine is replaced the logbook must be updated with the new engine number | |

when u have a new engine fitted even if the engine is the same size DO YOU HAVE to have it changed on the log book??? | |

on that engine the code which cybermonkey24 has already said will be on the engine block where the gearbox joins to it. it will read x14xe then followed by a number which is the engine number | |

well the engine code is X14XE if its corsa B, and Z14XE if its Corsa C. | |

its the 1.4 16v sri lump. i dont have the book so all i can fin is the chassis/vin numbers. there are some codes at the front under the rocker cover but i cant really make them out | |

ive just renewed my insurance with adrian flux and they are wanting to know the engine no. of the lump in my car. i know this is the second lump in the car after the cambelt snapped on the first years ago and the books for the car have since been lost. any help would be appreciated. |
