Well the door cards aint going in are they just because of the shape. Its the base of the seat that needs grinding as far as I know.

Auction it can be done yeah. Usually Calibras are fairly sort after though becuase of the shape so morelike £1k for a redtop with leather. Still a good buy, engine, leather, brake system, and other bits can be sold.

buying a whole calibra for 600-800quid wiv decent conditoin leather is surely unlikely?

No, need to make custom subframes.

Your wrong m8 the calibra front seats are a straight swap but the back dont.

Yesh. Buy one, nick the interior AND engine outta it, and you're laughing.

The back aint straight swap you are right, but with a bit of grinding they will fit, or you could take the cover off and fit it over your current back seats.

You should be able to pick a set up for between £100 and £300 for black, and £200-£400 for cream. But the condition for £100 wont be amazing, yet you could get a good deal. There is always the idea of buying a donar car with the leathers in, pay around £600-£800 for the car, strip everything you want out of it and then seel everything else, you would make your money back quite easily if you have the space to store the car.
