i have the same problem, but the thing is the headunit requires another permanent live directly from the battery because it draws so much current. This means if you swap the yellow and red over there will be too much current flowing through the vauxhall wiring!

Yes and in the headunit loom there should be your yellow and red wires and they should be in bullet connectors, just swap them round.

If not, its a case of cutting, swapping and reconnecting with bullet connectors or butt ends.

thats the trouble u see, there aint a yellow wire coming out of the block??? just the permanent live wit two availible connections.... hmmmm

On the Iso plug swap the red and yellow wires round. This should sort it:)

just buggin me now....


my head unit doesnt wire up to a ignition live, so it dont come on with the ignition turned and dont go off neither, its annoyin cos i have to hold the power button 4 ages till i goes off!!

any one got any ideas what it is??
