I drilled the air box on my spoert 1.4 16v and i love the noise it makes. just need to find a bigger drill bit!
for looks the ind kit will be better, but drilling properly gives impressive results, and is totally free!;)

Vipers not cheap though (unless u get it 2nd hand ;) )

Cheapest and most effective is the drilled box+panel filter. As miles said, induction kits are for noise. Dont do anything, but they do sound good :)

I miss my old 1.4 16v engine note :(

That'll do, or PVD do one. Just get the cheapest one you can, it aint gonna do a lot anyway.

They dont respond from ind kits. Get any cheap panel filter

Yeah the PVD was what I was on about. The BFO cones have had some good reviews.

For sound, go for PiperX or one of the BFO kits (PVD).

For power, drill the airbox and fit an aftermarket panel filter :)

Hello guys ive just purchased a mint 1.4 16v corsa sport (ecotec) with only 55k on the clock. Ive ordered some -50mm springs and a sparco strut brace but im umm'ing and arr'ing about an induction kit..

I got my eye on one of those PVD ones but im a little confused as to whether I should or not. What induction kit does the ecotec engine respond to?

Many thanks people.
Martin.
