i just got some max power neon strips to go in my footwell, if i take off thr ciggy light bit does that mean they wont work if put them throught a different 12v power sourse? | |

i wired my neon up to my amlifier live to the remote connection and earth obviously to the earth connection. try it if u got an install | |

well if u do it to the boot light it will only come on wen u open the boot! and u can always put a switch in the line so that if u want it on or off for watever reason u can (e.g. if the boot is open but u want the neon off) | |

or u cud use the amp power supply? i had mine off remote lead and negative so only came on when amp was on | |

gotta be careful about if they have a starter though, the starter has to be on the wires for them to work. | |

yer wiv most neons chop off the lighter attatchment, then pop the wires into the existign pos n neg wires which go to the boot light. piss easy, even i managed it! | |
