As above, change your centre section. You can either get a straight-through pipe (no centre silencer), or a replacement with a smaller silencer than the original.

back box on a 1.2 8v will hardly make a difference, get the centre section removed but leave the cat and it will be louder, i did this myself

yer, corsa i asked, just wondering
johns purple beast - no, not gonna drill holes in the actual exhaust

do not drill holes! the gasses will cause the zorst to rattle when they pass over it. eventually leading to dmage, and the zorst falling off.

also its just a stupid idea:rolleyes:, why not just but another back box if your not happy with it later. did you not ask when you bought it

dunno mate. personally i wouldn't do it myself but it's your call.

i think it should still pass m.o.t though ncause it's still going thorugh all the original parts e.g. cat and back box to reduce the emissions

u have to wait a while before u get a proper sound from the exhaust, cause u have to run it in.

use it for a while and see if it get's any louder

hi, i had my new backbox fitted today. it seems ok and is quite loud but not loud enuf 4 me:(
the actual pipe is oval shaped but in this oval is the circle that lets all the shit out. Wot i am tryin to say is that there is enuf room 4 a larger hole to take up more of this oval pipe shape. ( i hope u all understand)
i was wondering, what if i made this hole larger or drileld a few more holes? wud this make it sound better? wud i still pass my MOT?
if no one understands then i mite b able to draw a diagram. cheers ppl:thumbs:
