corser is right, i just cut the side off b4 putting the bfo on as an experiment. I put a pvd panel in and drove it to max power, sounded alright aswell lol

The best thing to do is cut away like i have and fibreglass it up so u just have the one compartment with one feed and put a well position cold airfeed to it....

corsa-sxi - just do wot i said and start at 12mm if u want the noise lower down the revs increase the hole size.

what holes will give me best sound?i spoke to him..he told me 12mm holes...shall i drill a lot or less for best noise?

i dont think he did cut the side away as well. from what i can see in the pics the side cut away is the side in the second pic with the filter upside down. so ill guess he thought hed try it before he put on the bfo

you dont want to be cutting the fucking thing out, as there will be a significant presusre drop in the airbox.

the only reason it'll use more fuel is because you'l be constantly flooring it in order to hear the induction noise
