Basically rang up a Garage and he said its probably the Idle Air Control valve. he said hes had a vecra and a corsa in this week with the same problem. Basically its high/low because sometimes its major low revs and sometimes its reving like your touching the accellerator but your not.

only.............. £200 and a mornings job.

SKINT

it wants a new idle air control motor its the black thing on the side of the throttle body but u will probebly need the ecu reprograming with new soft ware at your vauxhall garage to match the new valve or it wont tick over

IAC idle air control valve? check the connector too it should have said if voltage was either high or low really not one or the other. If you have a mate with a 1.0l 12 VALVE then try swapping and trying his idle air control valve
