yes leave it off for a couple of hours

but it might be that u need tech 2 to reset it. im only sayin this kus of a problem i had with my airbag light. my mate at vx put tech 2 on and he said it was kus ecu had been messed with and just needed to reset the code and its been ok since

does resettin the ecu turn the light off and reset the codes?

just fitted a 1998 tigra engine(x16xe) into my corsa gsi (also x16xe). Went in fine with no probs but after doing a diagnostic test was showing 3 faults. 1. a fault with the knock sensor circuit.
2. wrong code for immobiliser(starts fine though. are these engines coded to the ecu in some way? i used original loom)
3. fuel pump relay low voltage. (replaced relay, cleaned terminals on fuel pump)

SOMEBODY MUST KNOW WHAT TO DO????
