On my nova I've stripped them all off, they don't really do much. extra weight to carry

does it in my car too, dont think there is anything to worry about, cos my corsa cam from vaux and it did it on the first day.:|

there is a shield above the silencers, it may get warm but neva noticed it in my corsa b

The exhaust manifold heat shield wont do anything for that, its just the heat off the exhaust pipe thats running close under the car.

yes there is one but after a decent run in the car its inevitable it will get warm, but i doubt its as warm as the exhaust. it does shield the heat but dont think its totally inpenitrable.

Is there supposed to be one on a corsa?? Coz a mate whilst sittin in the back noticed that the floor was warm in the back behind the handbrake area?? Or he said could be where the engine throws out hot air or something?? Didnt really listen :lol:

Anyone got any ideas? Cheers!
