Good sevice from thezeb.com I got my amp from there.
Only problem with buying from the states is if it goes faulty you can't get it fixed under warrenty and will end up paying.

if you dont mind a bit of hassle and dont need it asap, then import it from the states. I got a 2400w RMS (1200w per channel) audiobahn amp from thezeb.com for about £400 including postage.

I used to have the old model to that which I was running of a Audiobahn amp A6401Q which is 4x75w RMS. The sub was run off just 2channels bridged and it sounded mint so any quality amp will do.

well i dont really know mate because i aint had any other subs.

it gives my gf a head ache, and the neighbours can hear it. lol.

but like you say it is only a 90quid sub. but if you have the cash to get better, then go for it.

got a maystar 475 amp at the mo and got it running at around 440 watts, but to be honest, never really cranked it up all the way cos my Sony 690 md head unit is pretty poor. But compared to the JL 12WO i used to have, its definately a noticable improvement.

And yes its looooooowwwww and loud when it needs to be.

Only selling because i'm changing my entire set up. Pioneer 6500 dvd hu, kicker L7 etc - gonna be big!

I'm gonna sell it with the box as theres just no point splitting them.

I'm just waiting for my new amp to arrive from the US - should be a week or so.

Email me at jrsteeve@hotmail.com in about a week or else i'll forget.

The box will be about £50, and around £10 for decent cabling.
Oh and about £20 for delivery

so if you do wack yours up for sale, it will include the box as well?? if so that makes it pretty mint for 150 quid
btw mate, what amp have you go powering it at the mo? i take it you have it running at the full 500wRMS? And is the sub pretty meaty (loud, bassy etc)?

cheers boss :)

yea i was just looking at the AW120T and it seems a good amp, but on mcs-direct.co.uk its 130 quid for a new one ;) (HERE).

langey - is the aw1251T responsive? does it sound alright for a 90 quid sub (mcs-direct.co.uk)?

As far as i can remember its a AUD-AW120T

Pushes out 500 watts RMS. I paid just over £200 including the box and cabling.

Its in pristine condition, like new actually, so i'd prob want around £150ish for it.

i have audiobahn front speakers and a sub in the boot, i like them, but i aint tryed anything else.

and the front spekaers are only powered by the HU and they still sound nice,

sub aint fully powered but can give a good sound.

modles are AW1251T (sub)
ABF25T (components)

yea the amps look amazing :) although, damn there expensive :( Although it was the subs that i was looking at. The one i was looking at was about 88 quid in the states (excluding P&P which wud be about 60 quid :() and a similar one over here for 155 quid-ish. But they seems too cheap personally :o so wanted to find out what there like and how they sound etc ive had a chat to my local ICE blokey and he doesnt seem to stock them, nor has he heard anything by them :(

jrsteeve - yea, if you could find out the model number mate :) and then give me a rough idea what condition its in etc and rough price your looking for it

tar all, ill look around for some reviews and stuff :)

Ask drunkenfool, he's just inheritied some of their equipment ;)

I saw a demo van at the last cruise hijackers, there amps look the fucking mutts nuts, blue voltmeters and chrome finishes with fans, but the subs werent performing that well :(

bumpy bump
any opinions on these? has anyone got one or another audiobahn? if so, what do you think? are they worth the cash?

Dom

posted on 16th Nov 03 at 14:52

cheers boss. They dont seem to do the same model :boggle: but theres one similar, AW121T (i think), which is £155 quid, which would be about the same if i got it shipped from the states :(

Does anyone recommend them though? And what about amp wise?
tar :)

langey

Dom

hi all,
just after some opinions on the Audiobahn AW122T? (HERE) If i got it shipped from the states, it would be about £90 for the sub, excluding P&P etc which seems pretty good, but would it be worth it? Is there anywhere over here (UK) that sells em'?

Also, it needs 550wRMS, so can anyone recommend any mono blocks or amps that would suit it?

tar all
