I'll try the turning the key thing tonight when i get home and try it with the ignition on too.

I suppose its better to work these things out now rather than come unstuck

Have u tried what Willay suggested ?

Surely that works. Surely turning the key twice in the door will give same result ?

cost cutting that's a good one:lol: so when you loose your key you can only open the doors and boot with the spare, then you have to go to vauxhall and buy a transponder key fob at £25.certainly cost cutting for them but not the customer:lol:

so both of ure keys are the square type with the same buttons?

cos my spare is like my old corsa b one with no push buttons.

my dad wont use the main key cos its too complicated so he takes the spare and then rings me from the petrol station saying "how the bloody ell do i get petrol in it" so he has to come home for my key

so they have pulled a fast one then?

Id drive down to Vaux and ask for the correct spare key - just don't run out of petrol

same.

only way i can think of doing it without two buttons is putting the key into the door and then turning it to unlock and then again this should hopefully unlock the other doors? :boggle: thus unlocking the petrol cap.

thanx

why u not got the buttons on the spare??

i got my normal key with the 2 buttons and a spare with the 2 buttons also.

I would presume u just unlock the car by turnign the key and it shud unlock the fuel cap.. :boggle:
