fibreglass pane;!take wiper and lock off etc.sport spoiler off gasket out windoe.slip it in 2 place.smooth it in etc

smooth boot, 2 options

weld a metal plate over the recess, sand it, smooth it & spray it

or get a fiber-glass panel which bonds onto the boot & then spray that, but it sticks out a few mm but if done properly isn't really noticeable

i wouldnt bother, it will take them years to rust through, and even if u paint em give it 2 months and they will be back in that state anyway.

have the springs sand blasted to remove the old shit, then spray em up with hammerite smooth finish, dunno about smooth boots...

i just bought some second hand. there are proper rusty, any way of getting the old paint off and putting a new protective paint on? any particular paint? oh yeh, and do smooth boot panels fit over the top of the standard 1? or do you swap them over? please repond, cheers cs guys
