I think it must be the wiring cos now its coming on and resetting when i turn the lights on and going off when i turn them off.

i had a similar prob when i disconnected my MFD, but although the conector felt loose it was in fact the soldering on the plug the connector connects to that had gone dodgy so the whole lot was free from the board and only contacting intermittantly (i think this is a comon prob as a few people i know have had this happen) so it may be worth checking that out too. all i did to fix it was to resolder the joints but it is a fiddly job so if u not good with a soldering iron i wouldnt recommend tryin it. and if it does turn out to be this the other option is to buy a new MFD from a scrapper they normlly only charge about a tenner.

Took my MFD cover and heater control panel off, got it all sprayed and re-fitted it. now my mfd decides to play silly buggars and only goes on when it wants to and its really annoying.

The connection at the back looks and feels really loose so not sure if i've lost a bit. Advice, or could someone post a picture of the back of the MFD itself?

Cheers ppl.:)
