check the brakes all round to see if they are worn, also get under the car and check the handbrake cable it may have frayed and got caught up somewhere, also check the fluid level, if the light comes on as you turn a corner this can mean the fluid is low.

Now and again when i start the car up and then go to move off the car has difficulty moving off. It feels like the hanbrake is stuck on. then with a bit of revs, it sort of jumps forward and out of it.

It has happend 3 or 4 times now.

p.s. my handbrake light is on when i take a right turn
