It will never sound as good as a C16XE no. Even X14 and X14 lumps dont sound as good.

I wouldn't bother with an induction kit on that engine. Keep the drilled airbox and panel filter. More power, ind kits dont work. PLus you need all the power you can get with that engine :lol:

Used to have a GSi corsa and we all know just how nice these sound with an induction kit or drilled airbox. I've since sold the car and bought an Astra G GSi with the X20XEV engine. How do these sound with an induction kit or opened up airbox. I'm asking as I'm not to keen on driving around without an airbox to test it for sound nor drilling heaps of holes in the airbox only to find out it was all pointless! Do they sound as good as the C16XE motor?
