Alpine TME-760, stand alone screen. Cost me £400 and ive have to say its up their with the best of em for stand alone...

As far as importing stuff from hong kong, if its not declared as a gift from the person u are buying from (cant be declared as a gift if its from a registered company) then here is the lo down of costs.

Say the screen cost you £200 and £30 to ship it, thats £230.

VAT in customs = £35
Courier charge for paying and waiting for customs + paperwork can vary between £10 and £50

So expect the total cost at the worst scenario to be around £315

Thought it was about time we had a post that stated what screens people have, cost, size, resolution, and overall thoughts on them.

Thought it would be helpful instead of the every day post asking about them.

Oh, and for the record, i am screen hunting myself at the presnt :lol:

And can anyone gimme some info regarding import fees from hong Kong etc.
