If Archies fitted straight on then Janspeed have been feeding you shite.

They are bolt off bolt on. Will need new gaskets. Any mechanic could do it.

How much to get one fitted? Will my local mech do it? Cheers.

supersprint chromed stainless, these look the part, but expencive, give a good gain too on a 1.6 mate. 108.8 standard and 114.2. Thats just the manifold replaced, no other mods. acording to carnoisseurcraig

When I bought mine Pete Knivet (sp?) told me they were identical. I cant remember the company name but he had the mantzel uk rights but packed it in and gave them to Courtenay, he now works for TV.

thats all i need is confirmation i mean do janspeed wanna sell me a manifold or not, looks like they aint a straight copy after all, the bloke on the phone said janspeed exhausts are unique!!! to all other systems

In that case potn are lying as the janspeed is meant to be an exact copy of the lexmaul/mantzel items. I thought a couple of people on here had these manifolds, surely they can confirm???

I fitted mine to a nova with custom system so dont know. I think it should fit.

The Janspeed is exactly the same as the lexmaul bar the material.

Tell them to ram it. Sports cats are for money to burn fools.

If you do genuinely need it to fit just get a cheap powerflow decat.

Tell you'll have a Janspeed de-cat pipe instead.
Loads cheaper (leaves cash to bribe an MOT station) and doesn't rasp like other de-cats are meant to.
Say ul cancel if you cant fit it without the sports cat and i bet all of a sudden it'll be ok to fit.
Basicly i think there trying to screw you for more money!

Just had a phone call from POTN i ordered a janspeed 4-2-1 manifold for a C16 XE engined GSI they just rung me and said for the manifold to fit i need a janspeed sports cat at £280 odd pounds
Any one got one fitted to their GSI with C16 XE engine and had this same problem
