swap the block of the c16se with the c14se and use the c14se head.

Youll have 1598cc capacity and about 100bhp.

You can use 1.6 pistons in the 1.4 to get it up to about 1450cc

id just swap blocks, the management is the same in both engines.

A full 1.6 engine will cost me around 600 pounds in my country.I don't know , how much would you pay in the UK for a full engine?

hi guys
I've got the c14se engine.It's the 1.4 8v with 82Hp one.
I want a 1.6 motor but i can't replace the whole engine.
I was told that i can convert the engine into a 1.6 by changing some parts with parts from a 1.6 engine.
Does anyone know more about this?
What parts i need or performance specs?
Thanks
