hmm no smoke or steam from my exhaust. can't hear the sound of runnning water but on occasions when i go to drive my car in the morning, i have no water. this due to a crapppy radiator hose and i find a big puddle under it

yeah pritty sure mine is the head gasket. hopefully the head isn't cracked. only recently noticed a little bit of white mayo under the rocker cover cap. and it was only losing a little bit of pressure.

i must get it sorted soon or i risk doing more damage

also look for an oily slick on top of the water in your header tank, or mayo type white stuff under the oil cap.
To be real sure do a compression test, get a guage from halfords, screw it in one or ya spark plug holes and turn the engine by hand, do this on all cylinders if there is a major difference between cylinders then there is a problem

another way to see if its gone is to dip the oil and see if u have tiny bubbles in it thats a sign there is water gettin into through the gasket
