can you really raise rev limiter with unichip? when i asked it 1 month ago i was told that you cant. read what Adam wrote. he had superchip to raise the rev limiter.

not really sure. wait until some expert ansvers...

but i still kind a belief that thing wich was on A Graham Bells book about that corsas 1.6 ecotec engine... and i think that because i have almost the same engine, it obviously dont have ANY effect on that...:lol:

Thing with cams is that only very mild ones can be used with standard management, so gains will be minimal. You also cant use standard engine management with vernier pullies.

miles youre quite right. after cams it might be more ideal, cos standard ecu cant anymore cope. janspeed manifold might be more ideal, helps breath better at that point,since the inletmanifold has been changed.

any suggestions what gains one should expect after manifold?

it was 121 when I had it rollered at interpro in bristol.

Its the same except a different exhaust manifold, system and air filter. You'd get better power if you stick my airbox on it.

A chip simply to raise the rev limit, or maybe a unichip if you want to pay the extra, depends how much you want to spend really. A janspeed exhaust manifold is a good buy at £170.

i think what youll need is like unichip or DTA or omex.. i think that should release some more dont know figures...getting fuelling and spark at right moment.

100, they r 90bhp standard and that £400 mantzel claims 20bhp on its own so was hoping for a bit more...

When you do ask the guy what a 1.2 16v corsa B *should* be regardless of what the handbook says.

And postit upon here for us.

I think somewhere in the region of 100bhp for your car.
