could well be the temperature sensor, happend to a mate of mine and idle went mental, up round 6k revs before we switched off | |

what engine you got, if its a 1.4 16v or 1.6 16V i know the idle stepper motor is on the throttle body, if that dont work try throttle position sensor also on the throttle body. if ya engine managment light is coming on read the fault code to be more sure | |

For some reason my corsa will rev itself up to about 4000revs on its own... like when im sitting in a traffic jam or something, sometimes it just stops on its own, other times i have to restart my engine. |
